Plate Making
In flexography labels are printed using flexible sheets of material with raised areas somewhat similar to what you might see on the face of a rubber stamp. Each different color of ink to be printed on a particular label requires a different sheet or "plate". These plates are created through our direct-to-plate process.

We use state-of-the-art digital plate-making equipment. American Label was the first in the Inter-mountain West to adopt this technology and it has been wildly successful. Our plate process brings added color consistency and line-screen quality not previously available in flexographic printing. Once the plates are made its off to the presses. --->
